Established in a small unit on the Preston docks by father and son duo Stephen and Ryan in 2017, Merlin Food Service is a result of a cumulative 40 years in foodservice, born from in that time not seeing any company provide for it's customers they way we thought it should.

The business name actually comes from a stray cat we adopted and became our beloved family pet, Merlin. We debated names until finally Merlin charged in to play and gave us the inspiration needed.

 

We quickly outgrew the small unit we started in on the docks within the first year and looked towards a large warehouse in Wesham, where we are still based.

We now have a picturesque location and two units in Wesham on a working farm and a wonderful team around us.
